VINCENT TONG
Barrister and Solicitor | Registered Collaborative Family Lawyer
Vince obtained his BA (With Distinction) from the University of Alberta in 2000, by way of a year spent on exchange in England at Royal Holloway College, University of London in 1998-1999. After completing his LLB in 2003 at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law, Vince was called to the Alberta bar in September 2004. Since then, Vince has practiced in Sherwood Park in a variety of areas, but eventually his focus grew on family law.
Vince can assist clients through the entire spectrum of family law disputes, whether through the Collaborative Family Law process, or through the more traditional litigation process. Qualified as a Registered Collaborative Family Lawyer, Vince can also assist clients with family law mediation. The balance of Vince's practice includes personal injury, real estate, wills and estates, and other general litigation. Vince prides himself on advocating for his clients with a view to practical solutions.
When he worked at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Vince assisted with the planning and execution of HRH Prince Michael of Kent's visit in 2002, and was also involved with the Maple Leaf Legacy Project, a volunteer effort to photograph all Canadian war graves around the world.
In his spare time, Vince is a self-described 'petrolhead' who loves following motor racing, tinkering with his cars, and driving. Most importantly, Vince loves to relax with his wife, two daughters and their Yorkie.
Vince is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Alberta Association.
